Welcome to "Essential Mandolin Rhythms for the Jam"
Tim Connell, Instructor
Tim Connell has spent his career providing practical solutions to musicians of all backgrounds.
His work led him to a degree in Music Pedagogy from New England Conservatory, a multi-decade career teaching music to public school students, and several celebrated collaborations with luminaries of the American acoustic music world.
You have successfully registered for Essential Rhythms for the Jam, November 2022 cohort with Instructor Tim Connell. Thank you.
On Tuesday November 1st, the first two videos will appear in the "Essential Mandolin Rhythms for the Jam" course area on the website.
The first one is a Welcome Video with instructions on what to practice. The second video is a short "Practice-Along" video.
Playing along with these Practice-Along videos will be your homework each week. (You'll learn how to do the exercises in the weekly Lesson video).
The course is intended to be used asynchronously - i.e. you can do this entirely on your own and at your own pace. And you'll be able to return to it again and again over the years.
However, in November 2022, you also are welcome to attend a weekly live Zoom check-in with the class instructor, Tim Connell.
No worries if you can't attend live, or if you need to review one of the answers - these sessions will be recorded and made available to you.
